Did everyone manage to get clocks reset yet? Not me. I have several to do. I saw a post on FB that was pretty funny about what to reset and what to just wait 6 months until it gets right again. Lovely sunset as I’m typing this. Unfortunately, it’s only 5pm on Sunday. I don’t like when it’s dark early.
There are a few new dance items this week, so please check the schedule below.
Feel free to fill me in on whatever you know is happening that I don’t have listed here If you send info, please give me as much as you can about it, including where to find the information so that I may update later..
Many places have restrictions on masking, vaccinations, and so forth. I can’t keep up with it all. My best advice is be prepared to wear, or at least take, a mask wherever you go. If you’re vaccinated, take the card with you too. I am not at all sure that some of the rules I have listed in some events are still correct. I suggest that you contact whichever event organizer you’re interested in attending to find out what the rules are for that location.
I worked some on updating the calendar page of the website, but it’s a work in progress, so don’t believe everything you read there. Again, if you see something specific that needs to change & know what the changes are, please let me know.
MONDAYS
Sandy Garrish is teaching and Djing at Richlin Ballroom on Mondays. The dates for the rest of the year are not strictly the 1st & 3rd as they began due to other uses of the room. Dates for the next few months are November 22nd and December 13th & 27th, January 2rd & 17th, February 14th & 28th, March 14th & 28th. Ed & Gail are returning to Colvin Run Dance Hall for weekly dances on 11/9 from 7:30 to 10pm. In Chesapeake Beach, MD. 5pm=6pm Ultra Beginner Line dance (for those who have never danced before), 6pm-7pm Beginner Line dance (Basic dances, no experience needed), 7pm-8pm Intermediate Line dance (Complex dances for experienced dancers); $7 per class or $10 for 2 back-to-back classes.
