I have a some updates to pass along to you.
1. There will be NO country night at Box Seats on Fridays. The Saturday nights are ON. Also, the DJ is not always Chuck Hines. He's there on the 2nd & 4th Satudays when Cheri is teaching. Someone else is the DJ on the other nights. That info isn't available at the moment.
2. Low Places in Lancaster has discontinued Friday nights. They are continuing Saturday and Sunday nights with alcohol, so no more underage patrons on Sundays. Formerly it was Family Night. They are working on some renovations of carpeting and other flooring as well. No bands for the time being.
3. I have a request from a reader that someone who would like to ride share with someone from N.VA going to the Garst Barn Dance this Saturday. If you plan to go, and are willing to share transportation with someone else, please send me a note or phone # and I'll put you in touch.
4. There is a Line Dancing event in Sterling at O'Malley's Pub on Sunday, May 3 at 7:30 PM to benefit the charity Invisible Wound. This non-profit organization helps veterans wit PTSD and their families. You can find info at invisiblewound.org. There is a suggested donation of $5 at the door, & there will be a raffle. Everyone who pre-registers will receive a Swag Bag at the door, filled with gifts and offers from local businesses.
